KILL KNIGHT | Linux Vs Windows | Side by Side Comparation (GTX 1650 Super)
Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2694420/
Description:
KILL KNIGHT runs through Proton, using the DXVK since it uses DX11 on Windows, the game uses Unity Engine
Performance is worse on Linux for what it seems to be a CPU Bottleneck under the DXVK, GPU Usage without recording gets around 75% to 85%, meaning there is GPU power not being used in here.
There is a massive difference of 20 to 30% worse results under Linux, I've also tried Proton-experimental expecting better results, but it's pretty much in line with the proton 9.0-3, hopefully in the future, a more faster and refined DXVK might help to close the gap, still, give the how lightweight this game is, it poses no issues for me.
Regarding stability it is perfect on both, no crashes, everything works as it should.
