Cygni All Guns Blazing | Linux Vs Windows | Side by Side Comparation (GTX 1650 Super)
Store Page: https://game.page/cygni/BenchART
Description:
Cygni runs through Proton, using the DXVK since it uses DX11 on Windows, the game uses Unreal Engine 4
Performance is slightly to very worse on Linux though, compared to Windows it performs worse in between from 15 to 80% worse.
Shader cache stuttering dispite present on both operating systems, it seems that it hits harder and more frequent on Linux than on Windows, but still, both are bad in this sense.
Regarding stability it is perfect on both, no crashes, everything works as it should.
Conclusion: Reasonable results for Linux, some of the performance issues might be related with probably worse management in the VRAM usage, which might trigger those glaring 80% difference in the second boss during 2 seconds, the majority of the game was in between 20-30% difference worse compared to Windows.
While not great, it's playable and shows no graphical glitches, not terrible.
