Katana is pretty braindead, just spam m1 at trash. For bloats and Husks you actually need to do something that isn't spamming m1 at heads.
If you jump then immediately light attack, it wraps around and hits Husk tanks.
Stab+Heavy Overhead is an amazing combo on Bloats. Stab reliably headshots Bloats, causes Melee hit that interrrupts it's attacks. Then it will stand still patiently waiting for you to chop it's head.
After you stab it, it may Block, but Heavy Overheads circumvent blocks so after a headstab it's a free kill.
