It's probably the best on-perk weapon zerk has against QP's with only 2 damage skills our of the 3 (butcher+Parry+Smash)
If you run Parry+Butcher+Smash Eviscerator can kill in 2 hit's making it better since it can kill 2 QPs without reloading.
However if you run only 2 damage boosting skills, it takes 3 shots, making it incredibly inefficient at handling quaterpounds, since you have to reload for each QP.
Another reason you should always run full damage with eviscerator. RRRLR or LRRLR.
If you don't you should go railgun+katana or Zwei+vlad.
