Fleet Battle
You're not in control of the piloting of your strike ship, but you can use the guns. First, watch for enemy fighters — they have red contrails — and unload on them. You have seeking rockets on L1 and standard machine guns on R1.
Shoot down all the ships that you can to protect yourself. You'll make a few passes around fighting off other fighters before you finally settle on attacking Stahl's cruiser.
Like the MAWLR, the cruiser bristles with defenses. Keep firing continuously when you see red targets, and keep rockets coming, too. The first few passes, your goal will just be to cripple the guns some so that you can fight without being decimated.
Once you've knocked out most of the guns, you'll start to make a couple passes on the warp coil. It has three conduits on it, arranged in a triangle. Take out three on each side to cripple the ship and trigger a cutscene.
If anything gets in your way (including other fighters), just shoot it. Watch for debris and the occasional damaged strike ship coming your way — they'll kill you if you hit them. Use your guns to smash them out of the way and push through safely.
Destroying the warp coil puts you into the final run on Stahl's cruiser, but you'll have to stop the missiles coming your way to get to it. Do your best to gauge their spinning patterns and lead them.
You'll have to stop three volleys of missiles, so the key is to fire in bursts and try not to overheat your guns. Aim just ahead of the missiles to destroy them, and try to get them as they're making tighter circles to blow multiple missiles at a time.
During the third volley, you'll get the chance to fire your strike ship's onboard nuke at Stahl's cruiser. Hit Circle when prompted and the missiles won't matter. You'll have triggered the end game. Congratulations.
TROPHY: Finish Stahl's cruiser off and the "Let's Go Home" Trophy is your reward.
