Ahh! I finished the game! I ended up loving this playthrough, it started a bit rough but I fell in love with the game again. Such great backgrounds, settings, music, and gameplay. I swear I beat Sephiroth my first try off-stream, turns out mashing X (well not really, the idea is to keep on him at all times even if have to superglide or dodge roll to him and take some damage, that way he can't use that darn halo move) was the right strategy. Because Strike Raid and Ars Arcanum DON'T protect you from the halo move, I was convinced they did when I did it off-stream but I think, again, it's cuz I just kept close to him and mostly used combos or Ars Arcanum, not my failed Strike Raid technique y'all will see me suffer through in this video lol. So, my tip: keep on Sephiroth constantly, keep Aeroga on but most importantly constantly stay close to him so you can hit him before a halo forms, and pray longer than I did in the video loll
I start Abe's Odyssey tomorrow! Then I play Silent Hill. Excited for some shorter games, though I am eager to experience Chain of Memories and KH2 soon!
