So, after running around through those little, floating doors, we finally have an understanding of what is going on. It seems that Pete was getting yelled at by Maleficent and, after she left, he started thinking about the past. Now, I not really sure if they are implying that Pete has various magical abilities that are dormant within him but, he is somehow able to create his own door to the past; to the days where he would ride his steam boat around. I do like the call back to "Steam Boat Willie" (one, if not the, original animations from Disney that had both Mickey and Pete). What was confusing Sora is that there are two Petes; One from the Past and one from the Future. Now, I want go into all the typical Time Traveling problems that would arise when meeting with your past self or the effects that influencing the past would have on the future (The Thorns were growing but the cornerstone was still there which means that it would be impossible for the thorns to grown since they are dark magic; things like that) since this is a kids game. I will say that the old-timey Grayscale was really cool and they even changed the audio ever so slightly to add to that affect. I thought it was a nice world overall, even if the whole "Time Traveling" thing was sort of overlooked.
