Kingdom Hearts 2 - Roxas Data Battle Cheese Method
This was done on a level 89 Critical Mode save.
A long while back, I accidently figured out the number of hits needed to do a finishing attack and not trigger instant retaliation. I already understood that after a certain number of hits, a boss will eventually retaliate, especially when doing two combos with two finishing attacks. With Roxas, not triggering the retaliation that comes after a finishing attack avoids the possibility of him using his aerial attack where he's practically guaranteed to escape a stun lock and move to the center where he uses his light orbs.
I take a combo from him on purpose to recover MP through MP Rage to continue using Reflect, as I didn't have enough MP to do method this without getting hit. I don't quite remember, but I think I didn't use Guard Break because it would trigger retaliation. No Explosion either, but Explosion deals less damage to Roxas since he takes less damage from Magic.
