Holy chicken whydidImakethispartsolong?
Ah well. Let's just roll with it.

So we're on to The Grid, the world based on Tron Legacy and the downright most confusing world yet. Don't be shy, ask questions if you need to. I don't blame you. But anyway, I tried to get Tron Legacy and watch it before getting the game. I had trouble finding the right copy though and in the end, the order failed to arrive in time. I left on holiday for a week and was forced to play through the KH-condensed version of what is really a good movie first.
Now I love the Disney world thing, but games like KH2 and DDD have this bad habit of just making the plot a watered down version of the original film. It's nice when games like BBS, KH1 and Days actually use the worlds to tell the plot of Kingdom Hearts or have them set out as original tales instead of practically spoiling the movie.

But in Sora's story this is not the case. Instead it's more of an original tale about trying to rescue Tron. (Oh yeah, Tron is Rinzler by the way. Early spoiler!) I did think Rinzler/Tron was a little overlooked throughout Legacy, and his final reveal, redemption and disappearence in the film was so rushed. I mean, all three happened within the same scene! It was a little disappointing.
Luckily, we have Sora who cares about Tron as a close friend, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get him back! Except Space Paranoids is not the sleeping world. This is a different Tron, the original Tron, who doesn't know Sora. It's explained in the video. But hey, their hearts are connected I guess. Hand waved.

I don't care what you say, this video has a really depressing moment. One of the most depressing in the series! It's sad. Okay? Tron was actually more developed in Kingdom Hearts II than he was in his own movie, and his friendship with Sora and the lot was so real, even if he's just data. And this scene here...I need a moment.

The kicker is at the end though, when Sora just leaves. Again, it's a dream! Hand waved!
