This is video #089 in my playthrough of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, part of the Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX. This video contains commentary. To view the non-commentary version, click here: https://youtu.be/1S3RXTczsLA

Previously, the party creamed Lexaeus in his Absent Silhouette in Twilight Town. They returned to the Land of Dragons to encounter a mysterious cloaked man on the Summit of the mountain. Unfortunately, a giant Heartless dragon is heading for the Imperial City.

So, after resuming in the Bamboo Grove, the party exits to the Encampment (time 0:57).

Then, they exit north to the Checkpoint (time 1:33). Bulky Vendors now have a chance of appearing in this area.

The party exits east to the Imperial Square (time 2:09). As they arrive, they run into Mulan's army buddies.

After the scene, there is an event battle with some Bolt Towers and Assault Riders (time 3:05). Mulan will have some useful advice after the battle (time 4:21).

At the Palace Gate, another event occurs as the party approaches the palace doors (time 4:58). Mulan manages to find a way inside.

Afterwards, they have made it inside to the Antechamber (time 6:02).

Another scene will occur as they approach the mysterious man in black ahead of them (time 6:46). This man is not who Sora expects it to be; it is a bona fide Organization member, who flees while leaving his minions to do his work for him.

Then, it will be time for the first battle against Snipers (time 7:32). These are Xigbar's minion Nobodies. They teleport around. They fire highly damaging laser beams from their arrowguns. However, the laser beams will pause before seeking their targets, at which time Sora can strike the beams back to the Snipers with the "Warp Snipe" reaction command.

During the battle, Sora reaches Level 37 and gains boosts to Defense and Max AP (time 7:47).

Also during the battle, Goofy reaches Level 38 and gains a Defense boost (time 8:16).

When it is over, the party discusses their opponent (time 8:27). They automatically go into the Throne Room to check on Shang and the Emperor (time 8:56). They discuss the man in black that previously visited the palace. As they speak, though, there is a bit of a shakeup outside.

After the scene, the party can raid the Throne Room for treasures (time 11:02). The captain and the Emperor both have some interesting hints.

On the ledge behind the Emperor and to his right, there is a chest containing the Palace Map in the northwest (time 12:31).

In the north, behind the throne, there are chests containing an Orichalcum and a Mythril Crystal (time 12:41).

In the northeast, there is a chest with a set of Torn Pages (time 12:49). It appears that Sora will get to revisit Pooh again quite soon.

Below the dais east of the Emperor, there is a chest containing an AP Boost (time 13:01).

Against the eastern wall, there is a chest containing a Queen Recipe (time 13:06). This is for Donald's Save the Queen wand.

Against the western wall, there is a chest containing the Ogre Shield for Goofy (time 13:17). This would be a good upgrade if Goofy did not have the Akashic Record.

Below the dais west of the Emperor, there is a chest containing an AP Boost (time 13:21).

From the northwest ledge, Sora can use Master Form to collect a "Daylight" Puzzle Piece in the west of the Throne Room (time 14:10). It depicts Riku's face. It goes in the third slot from the right on the second row down. At this point, only twelve slots remain to be filled in my puzzle.

However, the western piece can't be collected yet.

Up on the World Map, a new episode is added at Hollow Bastion to reflect the Torn Pages Sora just collected (time 15:59).

Over in the Village, Sora turns in his Queen Recipe and materials he has collected (time 16:21). Donald's Save the Queen requires a good set of Dense materials to create. However, the party does have enough to create the Master's Ring, the higher-rank version of the Expert's Ring, with a Serenity Gem and an Energy Gem. The Master's Ring increases Mas AP by 7.

This upgrades the Moogle to Moogle Level 7. This reduces material requirements for Rank A items by half. It also allows synthesis of items in Creations with only half the materials.

Next, the party will battle the Land of Dragons' final boss, the Storm Rider.

Thank you for watching!
