This is the sixth song for my newest album "Heart to Heart"

The album explores topics like self doubt, impostor syndrome and the fear of dying, it talks about a person on their deathbed, reminiscing of their life, past mistakes, doubts they have about themselves and ends with the ultimate acceptance of who they are, what they've become and that passing is a natural thing in life, not to be feared.

Obviously this is a short description as each song has vastly deeper meanings than this, but spoiling them would ruin the fun!.

Through the album and on every song there's a heartbeat pattern that plays on at least one section, sometimes it's not as recognizable as it is when it is played on the drums, but every song has this.

Without going into much detail this one talks about dying and welcoming death.

Lyrics:
In this place that I call I home
In my reign I am alone

Chained to this crown and restrained
Through no fault of my own
No one will see
When the courtain falls
In this sick and twisted play

I need you
In my everyday
Would you please lend me your shoulder
If for just a moment

And this is where your story ends
A new commence
No time to make ammends
Soon there'll be nothing at all
Please don't leave me on my own

Death take me away
Please take me away

Throw my crown
On the ground
I am free
Of all reigning now

I
See
The road to the
Land of Reeds

I
See
My heart laid out
My soul in doubt

I need you
In my everyday
And when you lend me your shoulder
I can see the light forwards
The horizon smiling onwards
And my life just slips away
