242A complete playthrough of Interplay's 1995 PC Dos interactive movie, Kingdom: The Far Reaches.
An awesome FMV game if there ever was one. The PC version is a good version of the original LaserDisc game Thayer's Quest (and is all but identical to the 3DO port), even though the video quality doesn't measure up to the arcade version, nor does it the CD-I version with huge benefits conferred by the required MPEG decoder cart.
The animation is fun in that somewhat simplistic 80's Saturday morning cartoon kind of way, and the soundtrack is beast. The controls are incredibly simple, and it's a lot of fun if you aren't averse to the trial-and-error style gameplay.
Despite there being less than an hour of video on disc, this game can take quite awhile to master.
