With my new rogue build I do a marathon journey across the whole game world from beginning to end, starting at Allestar Tower and finishing at the Court of Winter. I wanted to test out this build and grab a couple of trophies in the process. The trophies were for blocking and parrying and the timing to pull off the required moves can be tricky and varies from enemy to enemy. That's why it seems I deliberately take hits in some battles. I'm just trying to play defensively, which you may have noticed wasn't really my style in this game so I kind of sucked at it. Once I'd got the "Foiled Again" trophy I could stop all that defensive blocking nonsense and just let rip with a more aggressive approach.
Overall the rogue was OK but a bit too tanky and low damage for my tastes. Enemies could barely put a dent in me but it took much longer to kill them. I missed a lot of my sorcerer abilities, especially tempest and I just preferred being able to deal lots of damage and kill things quicker. Overall my original build was better and more fun in my opinion but it was interesting to try this one out. It was stylish at least and the fighting style was fierce once it got going.
