Derfel isn't marked as a quest giver, but visit his house and talk to him and he'll offer you a fairly lengthy quest to complete with a few twists in the tale. It's mainly fetching stuff but it does include a few places I'd not yet explored. I try for the "Trapper" trophy at one point but my traps are weak so I'll go for it later in a lower level area. I do inadvertently get the "Crime Doesn't Pay" trophy though. I was being nosey with some chests and accidently stole some peasant's clothes. I tried to escape and failed but got the trophy out of it so all good.
Afterwards I go to Canneroc to offload some of the treasure Derfel left me, then decide to start one of the DLC expansions "The Teeth of Naros". There are still a handful of quests in the main game but not many. I'm going to put Amalur on hold for a few days for a brand new playthrough but will return with Teeth of Naros once that's done.
