Playing the original King's Bounty, MS-DOS version. I originally played this on the Commodore 64, but these days its easier to run it in DOSBox. It's only on Normal difficulty, playing as the Sorceress character class. I also lost it while trying to capture the last contract I did, but just managed to hold on till the end, unfortunately the Knights I had bought had deserted me before I started the siege, something that never occurred in Heroes of Might and Magic. In King's Bounty, leadership skill, and payment were a major part of the game, keep armies under control, but all of this was dropped to make it easier for new players to get in to HOMM. Week of the ghost was always a painful one too, when all the ghosts you'd spent time carefully building up all turn in to peasants because "week of the peasants" occurs. Anyway I did manage to track down the scepter as I know the maps in this game pretty well. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/engioc
