King's Field 4 : Ending
2legitimately amazing level design, but mediocre combat and movement that hurt the overall experience. It's a game I really enjoyed playing purely because of its atmosphere, excellent design (especially the enemies) and incredible level design. I played my fare share of video games, Arx Fatalis and the original thief are games that really stuck with me when it comes to their level design and this game is genuinely on a similar level (it has such a good risk reward dynamic when exploring). What a shame, it could've honestly been a classic and a must have for every playstation 2 owners. I wouldn't recommend it personally if you're looking for a fun action game (however exploring is super fun).
It's not a bad game by any mean as I've said it, when it comes to Level Design it's some of the best in the industry (imo) but I wouldn't recommend to everyone...
I personally really really liked this game and might check the other ones.
