Optimizations have been discovered since the creation of this video. Here are some time saves of multiple seconds:
(1) Command Prep During Waits
Opening the input box pauses all gameplay, however it doesn't pause timers for events (if you type quickly). Any time you're waiting you can pre-type your next command to save time typing later.
(2) Fast Axe
While waiting for the ogre, going upstairs after seeing "The ogre is coming!" won't add to the ogre timer. You have just enough time to grab the axe and run back down to the closet.
