Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a 2017 spy action comedy film directed by Matthew Vaughn. The film is the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) and the second installment in the Kingsman film series. The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson, Edward Holcroft, and Hanna Alström, who reprise their roles from the first film, with Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Elton John, Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges joining the cast.
The film follows members of Kingsman needing to team up with their American counterpart, Statesman, after the Kingsman organization is crippled and the world is held hostage by Poppy Adams and her very own organization called "The Golden Circle."
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the action-packed sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service, continuing the adventures of the stylish and unconventional British spy organization. After a mysterious attack destroys Kingsman's headquarters, agents Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) are forced to team up with their American counterparts, the Statesman, a secret spy organization disguised as a whiskey distillery.
The Statesman, led by agents such as the charming Tequila (Channing Tatum), tech-savvy Ginger Ale (Halle Berry), and the cowboy-like Whiskey (Pedro Pascal), bring their unique flair to the battle. Together, the two organizations face off against Poppy Adams (Julianne Moore), a ruthless and eccentric drug cartel leader who plans to hold the world hostage with a deadly new toxin.
Amid high-octane action, humor, and a dash of sentimentality, Eggsy must navigate personal stakes, global threats, and unexpected alliances to save the day. With dazzling stunts, quirky gadgets, and over-the-top villains, Kingsman: The Golden Circle delivers a wild, stylish, and thrilling ride.
