Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (Wii U Virtual Console) - 100% Playthrough | Part 1 [LIVE]
14Welcome to this 100% playthrough I will be doing of "Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards"!
This game was originally planned for the 64DD; however, due to the commercial failure of the disk drive itself, the 64DD was never released outside of Japan and this Kirby game released as a cartridge instead. Although this was the only Kirby game for the Nintendo 64, his debut was the original Super Smash Bros. for that console.
This is one of the few games where Kirby and King Dedede are allies, and as such the latter isn't the main antagonist.
I plan to go for 100% completion of this game, and that includes every level to complete alongside every single Crystal Shard. Despite this game having been included in Nintendo Switch Online, I will instead be playing this game on my Wii U as part of the now-defunct Virtual Console service. The game was also on the Wii Virtual Console, and it was also part of that 20th Anniversary Collection.
For this first stream, I will be playing through the first two worlds of the game; they are known as Pop Star and Rock Star. I will be having GoldGleeGamer1 and MichaelW1999 as guests.
