Kirby & the Amazing Mirror Perfect Runs - Area 7: Radish Ruins (Part 1)
Yep, I'm doing Perfect Runs of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, known in Japan as Hoshi no Kaabi: Kagami no Daimeikyuu (lit. Star Kirby: Mirror's Great Labyrinth). This game can be rather overwhelming in a single experience, but hey, it manages generally spectacular controls. Combine with giving it another shot, resulting in me finding out some nice things about it, and I daresay it's worth Perfect Running, although I do have to note that I can expect the project to strain my harddrive space.
When I was at Comic Con last year, I got popular with the opposite sex for displaying plenty of good traits. Like I say, a few even wanted to bring me to their hotel rooms, but I declined. There were kids to entertain, and one of them gave me inspiration for doing these Perfect Runs.
Just to bring back the proof of my statement:

(Blurry, but yes, that's me in the middle, and receptionist ladies, who by the way are aware of this, on either side of me.)
Perfect Run conditions:
*No damage
*No abilities unless deemed necessary (cell phone usage counts without condition)
*No assistance from other Kirbies unless deemed necessary
*No invincibility candy
Flying allowed but should be restricted. Sliding ends up being necessary and particularly useful at given points. There's one fight in particular where I would want to make high usage of it.
Radish Ruins' first half is easy enough that I can generally talk about game exploration and how things like Perfect Runs and skill for doing them can help with that. Exploration in and of itself can help with THAT too, funnily enough. But hey, if the game has good design policies, I'm not complaining.
Meanwhile, a miniboss called Master Hand, who is familiar, I think he came from "Super Bash Sisters"? Anyway, Master Hand is only anything resembling difficult by a cheap grab move that has hit detection issues in MH's favor. Without the grab, he's so pitiful that when his shots are used by anybody else, they outprioritize the same freaking type of shots he is using. What, does he have Shot Cancellation -1? That just bugs me.
There's also a Shotzo/Soarar formation that isn't easy to get through. But hey, it's just one obstacle, and as long as we don't eventually have to worry about something like Dark Meta Knight on a no ability, no damage run, which would no doubt result in a self-explanatory staring contest, things shouldn't get too bad.
