Due to reasons of the many sort, I shall be posting the first video of this series up little earlier than I was intending. I know I will be unable to upload anything for the next couple of days, so I may as well get this one up. The next game I shall be posting is Kirby Super Star! This one has been a personal favourite game of mine for a very long time, and I figured it was about time to show Kirby some love since I do very much like lots of the various Kirby games.

Super Star in particular stands out, though, as it just seems to do so much more than any of the other Kirby games. After Super Star, no Kirby game has ever really had the sheer variety and versatiity of Copy Abilities as Super Star. Squeak Squad "sort of" did something similar, but the abilities were still very lacking in move selection. This has been rather disappointing for me, as I quite like having each ability to be more than a one-shot wonder. I understand giving each ability multiple attacks can be difficult, especially with as many different abilities as in Kirby 64, but it really does add a lot of fun.

The structure for Kirby Super Star is simple... It is not just one game... but a variety of smaller games! Each of the games has its own little perk to make it unique. This first video manages to zip through the first game, Spring Breeze. There is really nothing all that special about this one... It is very basic Kirby gameplay, but it is also a slight remake of the very first Kirby game, Kirby's Dreamland. It is missing a stage from the game, as well as a boss, and the final stage is very different, but overall it is still very similar. In the original game, though, Copy Abilities did not exist yet, so power-ups came in the form of a microphone, some sort of fruit that let Kirby fire infinite amounts of air puffs, and the infamous super spicy curry. One power-up has always remained, though, and that is the invincible lollipop!

Well, that is quite enough rattling on about this, though, so I hope you...

Enjoy!~
