I freeze up the bosses' lives. So yeah, the bosses were frozen today!

So in case you're wondering, Ice gets complaints because of things like not having invincibility frames. Turns out that Ice is actually buffed a bit, although having to contend with the mercy defense factor now. Let's bring up the damage values before starting:
*Ice Breath: 18
*Ice Storm: 20
*Ice Sprinkle: 24
*Super Ice Sprinkle: 28
*Ice Ejection: 62
*Ice Kick: Not sure (likely 48 as it was in K(E)RtDL though)
*Ice Scatter: 16

Ice Storm is actually nerfed by having enough mercy defense to end up dealing 10.5 per hit on repeat attacks, but still has frightening amounts of DPS. It's just Ice Storm that suffers as much as it does against the mercy defense. The other attacks have I think 20~25% mercy defense, I'm not sure which. Ice Sprinkle and Super Ice Sprinkle, however, have been buffed a bit, but yes, it is significant.

As it turns out, Ice is a Mighty Glacier/Melee Tornado hybrid. Why does that sound familiar? ...so anyway...you know, it's funny that Ice is a Mighty Glacier. Wow.

...okay, okay. So anyway, being a Mighty Glacier/Melee Tornado hybrid ends up causing complaints to come with the territory. Although Ice isn't so slow so much as it is clumsy. Ice suffers infinitely worse against aerial bosses than Bomb does, though does at least have Super Ice Sprinkle to get base damage going against background bosses. Ice Ejection is handy, though, since it provides Ice with a way to snipe, but you can't jump with it to hit aerial bosses.

The biggest threat is contact damage, because you are so restricted to close range attacks that manage to be clumsy enough. Ice is already clumsy, but Super Ice Sprinkle is by far your best way of dealing damage while staying in the air. Ice is at least able to keep moving and attacking so take advantage of that to dodge attacks.

*Miniboss Allstars Elementals: No durability. NEXT!
*Miniboss Allstars Variety: again, no durability. NEXT!
*Flowery Woods: Ice Storm during his vulnerable moments. NE-oh, right, he moves into the background during the Turns Red phase. Ice Ejection will rip through his health easily during that God forsaken spike attack. NEXT!
*Paintra: Okay. This nuisance is a mobile spazz. She's certainly enough of one to make Ice's life miserable. Make sure you understand what she's doing and how to counterattack.
*Kracko: thankfully, Kracko is a big target. The most noteworthy thing in the fight that I do is to be on the right side after the MG electrical ball attack, which manipulates Kracko's movement in a manner that has him set up for a later Ice Ejection that doesn't have me positioned where I'd get hit.
*Coily Rattler: not particularly easy to figure out, but once you do, and it's surprisingly simple as you see here, Coily Rattler's health goes down fast enough.
*Pyribbit: background attacking but no air. NEXT!
*Nightmare Four #1: it's tempting to use his hula-hoop attack as a damage opportunity, but I don't recommend it. That attack was annoying enough to learn how to dodge. Learning how to attack during it wouldn't be fun. Other than that, though, dealing damage shouldn't be the nightmare on him that it is on Paintra.
*Nightmare Four #2: ye Gods, this guy knowing how to make use of his raw power makes him rather fierce to deal with using freaking Ice. Just let attack opportunities come to you.
*Nightmare Four #3: this fight with Ice. Stay wary at all times and let the damage dealing come to you. I need to mention that you can actually finish him off before he finishes his Turns Red gimmick to further emphasize this fight's Fridge Brilliance, but I botch it.
*Nightmare Four #4, Phase 1: thankfully, Ice is infinitely more mobile than Bomb, and this boss doesn't deal contact damage except with the "arms", so to speak.
*Nightmare Four #4, Phase 2: this phase, on the other hand, is irksome. He is aerial and in the background, and taking contact damage is REALLY easy to end up doing. Dealing with the Antr spawns isn't fun either, because they space you thanks to their sickening durability. All I have to say is keep dodging and remember as always to let the damage dealing come to you.
