Hi, I'm Kirostyle, a frog-themed martial artist Vtuber, and welcome to another Let's Play! This is my playthrough of Shadow Hearts, a JRPG with horror elements developed by Sacnoth and published by Aruze and Midway for PS2 in 2001! This game is the first in the Shadow Hearts series, but takes place after the PS1 game Koudelka (1999). The game takes place in a fictional version of Earth in 1913 where demons and magic are commonplace. The battle system uses the Judgment Ring mechanic. This game came out in North America the same week as Final Fantasy X, affecting its sales, but still garners a cult following. A sequel, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, was released in 2004.
