This is the eighth canon release and tenth overall entry in the Tekken series. Tekken 8 was released for PS5, Windows and Xbox. The story mode, The Dark Awakens, takes place 6 months after the events of Tekken 7 and focuses on Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. There are also individual Character Episodes and an Arcade Quest, which acts as a tutorial. This game has 32 characters in its base rosters, including newcomers Azucena, Reina, and Victor, with more DLC characters on the way.
