Knockout City is a dead game
Even with cross-play enabled, there are long-queue times for League Play games. It can take over 5 minutes (which is already way too long) to find a game.
The game was pretty active during the first month of its launch, but is now dead.
The $30 CAD price tag pushed many potential players away.
This is basically a free-to-play game having a buy-to-play pricing model.
Knockout City is an online-only third-person dodgeball game, which released on May 21, 2021.
The game has cross-play, meaning players can play against players playing from PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
It has 3v3 Street Play matches (a.k.a. Casual matches), 3v3 League Play matches (a.k.a. Ranked matches), Private matches, and Training.
On Steam charts, Knockout City averages around 1,000 players.

I do not recommend buying this game at $30 CAD, let alone buying this game at all.
Knockout City relies on a healthy playerbase. Without it, the game is literally unplayable.
Try it out when it becomes free-to-play eventually.
