This plot shows every shot taken by Kobe Brant in his career as a series of shot charts, one for each for each minute of game time.

Every shot chart appears for one second, so the plot encapsulates Kobe's career in 63 plots over 63 seconds. (One second for each minute of the 48 minutes of regulation time in NBA games, plus 15 seconds for 3 overtime periods).

The data set used to make this video is from the Kobe Bryant shot selection prediction competition on Kaggle.com:

Made shots are colored green, missed shots are colored red and white shots are NA values that were removed as a prediction target for the competition. Unfortunately, the NBA does not provide easily accessible downloadable data to fill in missing values.
