Kochi weather: Summer skies will prevail on the 14th, but beware of heatstroke - Weather forecast...
Kochi Prefecture will be covered by high pressure on the 14th, and it will be mostly sunny, but humid air and sunlight will bring rain and thunderstorms in some areas from the afternoon. Heavy rain is expected in some areas from the afternoon through the evening.
Many areas will see high temperatures due to the high pressure and the föhn effect, in which warm winds blow down from the Shikoku Mountains. Some areas, both in the plains and along the mountains, are likely to experience scorching temperatures of over 35°C. Please take care not to suffer from heatstroke.
Over the next week, summer skies will continue due to the strengthening of high pressure, but at the same time, high temperatures are likely to continue. Temperatures will not drop at night, and there will be many tropical nights. Caution is needed to avoid heatstroke both day and night.
