Kodiak Arena - aesthetics
1r.man was working constantly on these big projects as a one man army for about 10 yrs. One full custom content map after another.
This "little" arena was a refreshing detour, requested for a unique role during Kodiak's community streams.
Inspiration came from recreations of Ancient Rome's Colosseum for details like the overhang sun-shades.
Otherwise the helmet shaped spawn areas and the giant trick-jump well in the middle was original.
The era of CS:GO had ended last year. In case one day "csgo_legacy mode" may go away as well, this video will be an aesthetic archive of the final updated version of this map for the game.
