Igniz is the final boss in KOF 2001. I guess many players can't get 200 wins. It's more difficult than unlocking Zero. I spent over 10 years to find this tactic until 2018 (I had been playing KOF 2001 since 2004 when I was a teenager).

The way to unlock Ignize is quite different than Zero. To achieve 200 wins, here are tips you'd need to know.

* You must use Ralf.

* Keep using Ralf Kick, Ralf Tackle. It's more reducing the hitpoint any other common attacks.

* The rival can't often defend Ralf Kick. Use it in the normal status.

* Use Galactica Phantom in these situations as it won't expend a MAX-level super special moves. The rival's hit points will be reduced a lot and increase Ralf's.

1) When Ralf's hit points starts reducing per second, or it remaines 1/3 of Ralf's.
2) When facing the rival in the beginning, especialy the moment they don't even move.
3) When the rival stops attacking and moving.
4) After Baribari Vulcan Punch and the moment the rival is knocked down.

-- Attention --
(1) Don't always use the same attacking command. The AI would catch the weakness of the attack repeatedly. The rival may defend or escape and even fight back.

(2) The timing of using Galactica Phantom: I recommend at the beginning of facing battle. But it needs to notice that some rivial would move in the beginning. The second timing is when they stop attacking.

The AI's reaction depends on Ralf's attack. If Ralf doesn't move or do anything (see the video), the rival would stop their action, too. Wait for the moment they stop.

(3) The tenth rival every round will often move and attack, but the rival still can stop attacking. This depends on the AI's random counting ways.

(4) As my previous video told, this way has to be carefully handled becasue once Ralf reduces some hitpoints, it could be game over anytime. You need to notice every battle that how many hit points that Ralf has. See my last scene in the battle. I lost many in the process of defeating the two rivals, so I had 234 wins. I am not sure this way can reach 300 wins.

(5) There is a 10% (1 of 10 fighters in every round) of the chance that the rival never move. The feature is that the rival will have the full hit points. I think this is a bug in KOF 2001, but a chance to recover HPs. Attack them when they can't move.

(6) Don't always focus on one or two attacking modes . Try to use different ways to confuse the AI, otherwise, they would catch the weakness of Ralf's attacks.

If Ralf attacks the rival more frequently (storming attack), it may trigger the AI's counting more dramatical reverse. Sometimes, this could leads to a plot-twisted result. See my previous battle how Ralf failed.
