KOF: Maximum Impact 2 [PCSX2] - Story with Nightmare Geese
Ah yes, 'KOF: Maximum Impact 2' (or 'The King of Fighters 2006' depending on where you live). Certainly, this 3D fighting game doesn't hold a candle to SNK's finest hits such as 'The King of Fighters XIII' and 'Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves' in terms of overall quality. However, after all these years, I feel that this PlayStation 2 title from 2006 does have its place nowadays as a rather quirky fighter in retrospect, what with the insane combo strings and wide variety of appearances for each character.
So yeah, let's go through this game's arcade mode equivalent with a character who made a rather dramatic appearance in a certain SNK fighting game from this year not too long ago. (Prior to 'Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves', the last time that Nightmare Geese - who is essentially a powered-up ghost of Geese Howard, at least as far as my limited knowledge of SNK lore is concerned - appeared in a proper fighting game was as a DLC costume for normal Geese in 'The King of Fighters XIV'.)
