Capcom Fighting Jam (Capcom Fighting Collection 2) - Ingrid/Jedah playthrough
1Alright, let's tweak some game options, increase the resolution, apply no filters and change the wallpaper as I attempt to complete the arcade version of 'Capcom Fighting Jam' (AKA the Japanese version of 'Capcom Fighting Evolution') as Player 2.
Believe it or not, this rather mediocre fighting game has a secret final boss fight after Pyron (AKA the standard final boss of this game). In order to reach Shin Akuma/Shin Gouki (who's clearly based on his appearance in 'Capcom vs. SNK 2' but plays like a 'Super Street Fighter II Turbo' character), one must achieve at least three Perfect round victories plus at least one Super Combo Finish without losing a single round. Furthermore, this game has a secret fight against Ingrid that can only be reached by winning the first three fights without continuing and achieving at least one Perfect round victory before then. Believe me, it's not easy to try and reach Shin Akuma/Shin Gouki when the CPU opponents are rather ruthless on the default difficulty (hence the reason why I adjusted some game options and whatnot).
So yeah, it's totally possible to complete this game using only one character. (In this case, Ingrid, who was originally made for a cancelled project called 'Capcom Fighting All-Stars' and is a DLC character for 'Street Fighter 6', did all the work.)
