Kre-O is a line of toys from Hasbro, the company whose bread and butter products consist of Transformers, My Little Pony, and GI Joe. Kinda like how we had a set from Mattel a while back this one definitely has an air of legitimacy around it because Hasbro is a billion-dollar company and they have the resources needed to pursue garbage like this.
This particular set of blocks is a tie-in with a mobile game called CityVille and with a name like that aren't you surprised that it's no longer available to play in any form whatsoever? Gee, you would've thought something that esteemed would've been around forever. But no, it's a crappy disposable idle game that's a derivative of that FarmVille crap your grandma used to play on Facebook 15 years ago. You get stuff in the app by scanning codes in this box but since the game doesn't exist anymore none of this crap matters.
This toy's big gimmick is that it vibrates and it has these pads covered in little rubber nubs that in should, in theory, cause it to shuffle around and move so you can play with it. Well here's the thing, it doesn't work. Draco messed with this thing live on the air for far too long and not once did this piece of crap work. So we cut all of that out because it wasn't funny and it was frustrating to watch. No wonder this ended up at the 99c Only Store (where it ALSO was not 99 cents).
