testing Astron I's orbital capabilities by launching a relay satellite, along with its kickstage, to low-Kerbin orbit. the satellite is supposed to be part of a high-Kerbin orbit relay network that would serve as a back-up in case unmanned probes find themselves behind the moons, out of sight from Kerbin.

the rocket developed an oscillation during flight and went out of its supposed flight path, and it ended up in an inclined orbit that is dealt with using the extra propellant on the main stage. the kickstage did not have any monoprop for the reaction control, and did not have any means of generating power on its own. payload is successfully put into its desired orbit. the kickstage's deorbit burn did not put it into an encounter with Kerbin's atmosphere, and there's a chance that it might be out of electric charge, therefore no longer operational. reentry and landing of the Astron I main stage is successful.

music is "trans-lunar injection" by yours truly. i just made it earlier this afternoon and honestly i'm not proud of how it turned out to be.
