Yū Yū Hakusho was an early attempt at what would be later known as the platform fighter, although, as you'll see, there are a lot of differences to the genre as it stands today.

Annoyingly, for whatever reason the footage cut off the bottom half of the game and I didn't realize it until in post - and it was the raw footage that was like that. Gotta find either another emulator, or another recording software.
