Those of you who've been subscribed to my channel for the longest time now may recognize that I've done this kind of video on this particular game before – almost 11 years ago now, in fact. It may not have been my first ever gameplay video, but it *was* the first one on this particular channel where I played a game to completion and added commentary to it.
Of course, said video had some questionable editing choices and potentially objectionable commentary, so ever since I rebooted my Full Playthrough series, I've been wanting to give this one a much-needed redo. And here we are.
Kung Fu Kid (released in 1987 and known under other names in Japan and Brazil) is a quaint but fun little game that I find myself coming back to quite often. I even used to speedrun it for a little while... and then kinda speedran it again for this video. If I'd played this run at 60Hz, this would've been a nearly 30-second improvement over my current PB (as of April 26, 2022).
