LYRICS:
I sailed across the oceans wide
The black lagoons, galactic tides
Adrift upon the golden lights
Within my starship's moon-bound flight
The moonbeams came in, in warmth I drowned
As spacemen waved upon the ground
I hailed from Eris, Neptune's pride
And sailed across the oceans wide
The air here feels thin, but it doesn't really matter
I can't feel my legs, but I don't really care
As long as I have you, Celeste my dear,
And your lovely, soft charcoal hair.
And the air here feels thin, but I don't really care
My head has gone numb, I didn't notice, really
But as long as I'll have you, Celeste my sweet,
My death, I feel, is rather fair

A word from the band:
Alexis:
We've been sitting on this one for a while, and we're excited to finally get it out! We hope that it fills you with cosmic emptiness and otherworldly comfort.
Evangeline:
A more lullaby-esque track, one we've had around since before A&AS was conceived. It means a lot to me. Recorded on my Azusa mustang, now long gone. I love this track, I hope you will too.
