Today I try to explain how the autobhop works, first of all we go through what regular bunny hopping is. Bunny hopping or bhopping is jumping then when we land jump again to keep the momentum going. Strafing also adds momentum that we can keep while bhopping which can lead to extreme speeds. This glitch/exploit/mechanic is removed in newer games such as csgo because it would be unfair gameplay. However the left 4 dead series have not set a speed cap so you can go as fast as you desire to.
The con with bhopping would be that if you miss a hop will result in losing all the built up speed we've gotten. Source games uses flags inside the game to check if the player is grounded or in the air with this we can tell when we should jump. Source games also use a flag when performing a jump, default value is 4 then when we jump the flag changes to 5 then back to 4. We can use this force jumps whenever we want. So with the 2 values ready means we can force jumps whenever we are grounded to bhop. We get the memory addresses running the game in -insecure mode then use cheat engine. Here is a video detailed about finding the addresses : https://youtu.be/UQ1Y965O9nY
Now that we have an easy way to get indication from the games memory and making jumps we'll start coding the autobhop inside c#. There is a beautiful library by NewAge which allows us to easily read and write to games which we use here. then we write everything, now I am bored of writing more in this description.
