L4D2 Versus mode in Virtual Reality with sd805's VRmod (mod version 0.2)
3The current version of the vr mod is stable to play multiplayer (only on local servers), you shouldn't encounter the issues i described below if you use the latest version.
I was way too curious not to try it, I don't advice anyone to use the vrmod while playing online just yet with your head-gaming account,
Just to be safe, I used a second account where i had a copy of Left4Dead2 on so i could try the mod in online sessions.
Despite that there are a bunch of incompatibilities when you try the mod online, it is much more fun then playing with bots.
To be a special infected in virtual reality is really funny and i've been every special besides the tank and it's easy to do the attacks, just like you expect.
Although, I noticed how your position in your character changes later when you switch from infected to survivor and vice verca, so your view teleports a distance from your character, making it unable to control your character, this also happens when you try a campaign online, but it's all good in singleplayer.
This is the reason why i could not record a complete versus session and instead show you 2 rounds as special infected.
