L.A. Noire - The Easiest Way to Get Packard Custom
The easiest way to get Packard Custom (rare vehicle) in L.A.Noire game. Basically, the easiest way to get it is through the Hot Property street case in arson desk and you'll actually get three chances to get the car there.
1.After the chase will start, right on the first crossroad, a criminal will force the car to crash into the building. That car is your first Packard Custom. There IS enough time to get the car during this part and it WILL count to your achievement (if Packard Custom is your last cart to get, you'll get the achievement at this point), BUT it'll be really hard not to lose the criminal after that AND if you'll lose the criminal, the car won't count to your progress and won't be shown in your "EXTRAS" menu. So, it's a bad place to pick up the car.
2.A bit later, after criminal will cross the parking lot, there'll be another Packard Custom on that lot. That place is a bit better, since you'll get enough time to drive ahead of the criminal (make sure not to let your partner to shoot his tires) and get your Packard Custom, but it still isn't good enough.
3.The end of the case. That's the best place to get your Packard Custom. No matter how noobish you are, you'll be able to easily get the car there. Just DON'T let your Biggs (your partner) to shoot the criminal car's tires. Instead, slowly drive behind the criminal until you'll see him crashing into the truck. After that, stop, but don't go closer to the criminal (it'll end the case). Instead, go behind the truck and you'll notice another Packard Custom there. Force the driver to exit, start the engine to unlock the car for your EXTRAS menu, then you can exit and arrest the criminal. You'll lose the car after that, but it'll count to your progress and you'll be able to see it in EXTRAS menu. Congrats, you've got your Packard Custom without any problems.
