LA. Noire: The VR Case Files is a $29.99 VR detective game that supports the HTC Vive. Rockstar remade 7 cases from the original L.A. Noire game and added VR interaction. LA Noire VR Case Files supports armswinger locomotion, as well as a system where you target an area and press a button to watch your character move there in 3rd person. You play as a cop in fictionalized Los Angeles during the 1940s, and have to solve crimes while getting into shoot-outs, car chases, and fist fights, all done with proper roomscale VR integration. My favorite part of the game is the driving system where you grab the steering wheel with VR motion controls and control your speed with HTC Vive wand triggers. It is exciting to see how a AAA studio like Rockstar handled VR integration into their first VR release, and playing this game makes me very exciting for what is to come in the future from Rockstar Games.
