In this let's play Lacuna Passage gameplay video we play the sandbox preview of the future story mode as the game enters early access on Steam on the 17 May.
At the moment the sandbox is an open-world exploration game with goals to achieve, such as finding new locations and repairing equipment.
See how you emerge from a landing pod onto the surface of a bleak Mars, explore the surface to find habitats and supplies, map your journey using photographs and more in this let's play Lacuna Passage gameplay video.
Also, we discover several Lacuna Passage gameplay mechancs - we learn how to get the habitat power back online by jiggling around with electronics, we learn how to set our spawn point by sleeping and we follow our scanner to find new randomly distributed points of interest, including supply drops and transmittors.
This is a slow-paced and thoughtful game rather than an action game, and will be developed over early access based on player feedback.
