Description:
The SSS temporarily split up to help various organizations with restoring order in Crossbell. However, the previous incident means Erebonia and Calvard are now a lot more hasty in their efforts to take over Crossbell. This, combined with Ouroboros's increasing activity in the region, is going to require even greater damage control efforts from the SSS.

Talk to Moors and Roy in the city hall, where the latter wants to host a pageant of the working women of Crossbell. 24:54 Ancient Battlefield Investigation
The war hounds used by Revache have started attacking Armorica again, and they're hiding out in the Ancient Battlefield, where they displaced the local monster population. As you traverse the ancient battlefield, be sure to stop by the sewers to catch the catfish. You'll also notice that the sewers cannot be fully traversed because of a locked door, so you'll have to return to the left path at the beginning. At the final map, you'll be ambushed by the leader of the pack, a Hellhound.

The hellhound hits hard and its crafts cannot be dodged, so have Adamantine Shield on someone.
Zeit explains that the Doven Kaisers were forced to attack the village by the Hellhound, and now that their leader is dead, they won't attack humans anymore. Unbeknownst to the party, Heiyue and Rixia were watching them from the mini-tower near the sewer entrance. Vice Commander Douglas is pleased with this turn of events, since it was resolved fairly peacefully. Be sure to return to the Ancient Battlefield to fill out your book with the returning local monsters and grab the remaining chests in the last map.

If you caught all the fish up till now, including the unique fish, you can challenge the Silver Orca to a duel where the first to catch five unique fish wins. I have no idea how much RNG factors into this, but I managed to get a perfect victory by following the guide. Once you get the unique fish near Silver Orca, you can complete the Aqua Wizard rod at the Boat House and buy Rainbow Spinner bait.
Talk to Lakelord III in the fishing building and he'll move to the fishing spot at the Ursula Byway intersection. You have to catch all the same fish as him, requiring you to once again use specific bait. Once you pass this initial test, you have to use Rainbow Spinner bait to catch the Giga Rook.
Lakelord admits defeat, but when Herbert Fisher, the leader of the Fishermen's Guild, shows up, Lakelord accuses him of betraying the Imperial Fishing Guild by splitting off, which explains the rivalry between the two groups despite their shared love of fishing. Cerdan extends an olive branch by telling Lakelord to rescind his withdrawal from Crossbell so they can fish together as friendly rivals.
