Lamborghini was to have been released likely sometime during the Spring of 2003, however its developers (Rage Software) went bankrupt at the start of the year, and closed their doors by mid-January, preventing its release.
The only public release ever made of this game prior to was a demo released on Issue 14 of the Official UK Xbox Magazine, from March 2003. Due to its release being after Rage had already closed down, the liner notes of the demo from the magazine authors states;
"THIS COULD be your only chance to play Rage's incredible racing extravaganza."
This test build was known to have existed, but due to its very limited number of copies, remained lost for years until it was uploaded onto Archive.org in May 2022 thanks to the user "iCEQB".
The link comes with a patched .xbe so that it no longer requires a dev keycode, which were only available on Devkit Xboxes. This'll work on all retail Xboxes.
The assets to Lamborghini were eventually sold and re-used by Juice Games, ran by ex-Rage employees. These assets would eventually form the basis for the game "Juiced".
