1This is the same map where you fight Chaos and Lucilis in those path endings, except here you're fighting Lance, who after Digos' death assumes the role of Kaiser - probably the most suited person considering he was previously general.
Most of Lance's followers are primarily melee attackers, so don't feel pressured into having to spread out. Clumping together to get the most out of buffs and heals is a wise idea.
Lance sits there like the first encounter, preferring to send his subordinates out.
Laias and Laetitia both show up early to assist.
Betty also shows up to aid her brother, but she doesn't get much time to act.
My forces were pretty separated so that might have influenced her healing herself. No idea whether she would have used Magic or Melee attacks had she not been so wounded.
It almost feels like a pointless fight considering Lance dies on friendly terms with Ledin.
At least Ledin gets to unify the country, I guess?
