The very last British combat troops to serve in Afghanistan have arrived in theatre.

The Queen's Royal Hussars are taking over from the 9th/12th Royal Lancers, who have just completed a gruelling eight month tour.

They will be operating with Warthog armoured vehicles.

5 RIFLES are taking over the role of dismounted troops.
