Last Bronx - Saturn Gameplay - Lisa - Arcade Mode
9Gameplay footage of the Sega Saturn release of Last Bronx. One of the last few fighting games that the Saturn got and oddly one which has really been neglected by Sega.
Gameplay here is of Lisa, Rounds set to 1 and in Saturn Mode on Normal.
Whilst other games such as Fighting Vipers and Virtua Fighter got sequels....Last Bronx didnt really get much at all aside from a much better PC Release and then a Japanese only PS2 Sega Ages release.
The Saturn version was SERIOUSLY downgraded in order to run at 60FPS and also because at this time the Saturn was reaching its end and I doubt Sega cared that much about this title anymore.
The Saturn release had downgraded Graphics but not just to the character models but also to all the backgrounds which were now flat 2D images.
The environments also lost all their interactions as well which meant no more trains running in the station, no planes landing, no cars in the car park and no bridge traffic jams.
The Saturn release is still a good version but its nothing when compared to the SegaPC edition which DID actually have 3D rendered backgrounds and interactions. Everything in the SegaPC edition just looked a million times better which just left you wondering why the Saturn couldn't pull any of this off.
