Last Hope is a short and stylish little medieval adventure where you take on the role of a general tasked with protecting his king’s castle from an attack of overwhelming odds.
Created for Ludum Dare 46, Last Hope takes place within a castle that’s about to be attacked by a huge army. The King has already resigned himself to the idea that he’s going to lose, but you are an experienced general and if you make the right decisions you may just get out of this alive…
Unfortunately (most likely due to the time constraints of the jam) Last Hope is very short and you only really get to make two decisions that affect the outcome of the battle. The pixel art animation is excellent though, the writing is well done and it’s a great concept that would be perfect for fleshing out a little with a few more meaningful decisions.
