HOW TO MAKE LAST ORIGIN ENGLISH PATCH
hellow everyone welcome backt to my channel. This is s3 bayaya and today we get to learn how to make the english patch for last origin. This patch only works for Last Origin OneStore ver. This guide is a request by Allter, the wiki dude to make sure that someone else know how to make one in case others are not able to do so after a new update. If you happen to be free please make one when such time come and share it with the community.
Moving on with the guide. There are things that you need to prepare.
1. The original __data file from localization, table_localization_ko and table_localization_en. You can find them on your Last Origin data folder. Copy these folders into your PC.
2. Unity Asset Bundle Extractor. Find them on their GitHub page.
3. CSV reader or editor. For this guide, I will be using Libre Office.
Don't forget to back your data files just in case you fail.
Patching localization file - UI file
1. Open UABE
- File
- Open
- Choose the __data file from localization folder
- Unpack it - name doesn't matter
2. Click Info
- Choose LocalizationPatch
- Plugins
- Export to .txt
3. Open the new .txt file with a csv reader. I use Libre Office spreadsheet
- Replace everything in the ko column with ones in the en column,
- Watch out for the cell with -Need a translation Key-, do not replace it
- Save the .txt
4. Back to extractor, repeat the 2nd step until plugins
- Import from .txt
- Choose the new .txt file
- Save the new __data file in different folder
Patching table_localization_ko file - Text file
1. Open Unity Asset Bundle Extractor
- File
- Open
- Choose the __data file from table_localization_en
- Unpack it - name doesn't matter
2. Click Info
- Choose Table_Localization_en.bin
- Plugins
- Export to .txt
3. Open Unity Asset Bundle Extractor
- File
- Open - Choose the __data file from table_localization_ko
- Unpack it, name doesn't matter
4. Click Info
- Choose Table_Localization_ko.bin
- Plugins
- Import from .txt
- Choose the .txt from table_localization_en
- Save the new __data file in different folder
