Fagradalsfjall volcano has now increased its magma production to 13 cubic meters per second. Due to this the lava fields have pooled even higher. Now the lava has closed off access to the viewpoint facing the volcano. It will no longer be possible to view the volcano up close like this.

This video was filmed on June 4th. It was the last time the viewpoint was open. It was incredibly windy this day - my camera backpack flew away! Fortunately I retrieved it before it rolled down the hill.
