Latin Noir travels to five Latin American cities, meeting famous crime novelists Leonardo Padura (Havana), Luis Sepulveda (Santiago), Paco Ignacio Taibo II (Mexico City), Santiago Roncagliolo (Lima), Gulljermo Orsi and Claudia Pineiro (Buenos Aires). Strikingly different from their North American or Nordic counterparts these writers use crime fiction to confront their countries' troubled past and present - yielding an explosive fusion of art, history and crime.
